Savage Mill is an old mill estate that has been reincarnated into a bunch of little shops, restaurants, and a few interpretative sites. My wife and I went there for lunch with friends of ours in the area and had an enjoyable time. There's an enormous parking lot, so I bet the place gets crowded during the summer and fall months. We didn't get to walk around much, but there appears to be plenty to see if you've got an afternoon to kill.
