I wish I had read about Terry Ivory before I went and spent ANY money there. They'll take your money but if something goes wrong you can forget about getting any money back or credit in the full amount. They will offer you a small discount on your next purchase or a credit for a third of what you already spent there. Imagine that, spend more money with us because you didn't spend enough on your last piece of junk!
Here's my story:
I was a customer of their store for many years and have spent a good amount of money there. The last time, I purchased a $60.00 ring, within 2 hours (my drive home from NJ) I noticed the stone fell out. I didn't bang it, as they insinuated. I am fifty years old, do they think I am a child playing in a park? The stone simply fell out, the prongs were not damaged, the stone was not damaged. It just was not seated properly in the setting and unfortunately I did not notice. It was a piece of junk from the beginning. I searched all over my car and found the stone. I called them and they told me they would repair it. After several emails, phone calls, and months they told me they could not repair it. I went to pick up the ring to find out they could not repair it because they lost the stone. I refused to take the ring and asked for them to call me back. Of coarse they did not and no acknowledgment that they lost the stone. After more phone calls and emails and months I went back to pick up what was left of the ring and that's when they advised me that when a customer does not pick up their jewelry, they get rid of the jewelry. I suspect that they got a couple of bucks for the scrap silver. So $60.00 later and no ring to show for it and NO MONEY BACK. Oh yes, they offered me $20.00 credit. ARE THEY KIDDING! SPEND MORE MONEY THERE! That was my last time I ever went near that store and my goodbye gift to them. They don't care about their loyal customers who have kept them in business all those years. Now they bank on vacationers who will purchase jewelry and never return to complain
