I had the garden vegetable soup here once, and did not like it at all. It wasn't even soup--- they should call it stew. It had way too many beans to be "garden vegetable"
The service at this location is friendly and the layout is efficient and inviting at the same time. The breads and baked goods are the main draw, and they are quite good.

CPK has good salads and pizzas, but there are far better to be had in other dining establishments in nearby downtown Boston. The service is friendly and polite at this location and the prices are reasonable.
Mixed drinks were very watered down--- do not order anything but wine or beer if you want alcohol here!

These bagels are good tasting, but do not have the chewy shell that make a truly good bagel. Once I discovered the Finagle a Bagle down the street, I haven't eaten at Brueggers since. However, if Finagle were ever closed, Brueggers might have to pinch hit :)
