Dr. Gigante has been my doctor since I came to Hilton Head Island 6 1/2 internist ago. He is an exceptional internist and I would recommend him most highly. He is knowledgeable and intellectually curious in solving and deangmedical problems.Recently, I came to him with a vague set of symptoms, basically lack of energy and tiredness. He set about finding an answer. First, he did various blood tests, found I was anemic, and, in conjunction with my gastroenterologist and cardiologist, made changes in my medications. Finally, he ordered a blood transfusion. The result is that I now feel better than I have in years and this is quite an accomplishment at age 83. Dr. Gigante is also conscientious about telephoning test results. When I first became a patient, he gave me his cell phone number and encouraged me to use it whenever I had a question or concern
