I went to Watercourse Way for a massage after receiving a gift certificate from friends. The soaking tubs are nice as was the massage. My massage therapist was professional and did a good job. The atmosphere was relaxing and it wasn't busy when I went. They are open in the evenings which is nice and I was also able to get an appointment fairly quickly.

We always stop at Taqueria Vallarta on 41st Ave after a day of surfing and get one of their supreme burritos. They are excellent! You receive chips and salsa along with your burrito and the burritos are huge! Always enough for one big eater or for two meals. Their salsa is also pretty good and made fresh. The prices are right for the amount of food that you receive and they also have cervezas available. My favorite burrito spot!

I've been going to Change of Seasons Skin Care for over a year now and Mimi is awesome! I receive facials about 4 times a year and each time produces fantastic results. Mimi is very experienced in her field, professional and friendly. She explains everything and knows a lot about skin care. It is also not a pressured atmosphere like some day spas, she basis your need for facials on your skin type and doesn't try to sell you on getting lot's and lot's of facials, but rather what you actually need. She also carries a great line of make-up products and they are now my absolute favorite brand. I would recommend Change of Seasons to anyone and I will go back.

We went to the G Bar for a birthday party and it was fabulous. It has a really nice atmosphere with plush seating and a fireplace. It is sort of small and can get crowded, so if you are going with a larger group plan to get there early. The drinks were great however the bartenders didn't seem to be too happy about being at work. They were okay, just not friendly in general. The G Bar is on the corner and sort of hidden from plain site, so you have to know that it's there. I would definitely go back.

We went on one of the three babes and a bus trips to go bar hopping for a bachelorette party. The fee for being driven around town is decent, $38 or something and that includes entrance into the nightclubs that you go to. There were over 2 buses, the large tour bus type buses, on the night that we went. It sort of made you feel lost in the crowd and herded around town. The bars were fun and most of the hostesses seemed good, however ours was a little quiet and weird. She did not try to enthuse the group whatsoever. We still had a good time but that was because we made it a good time. I would not go on one of their tours again.

We went to the Bubble Lounge for a couple of drinks and the ambiance inside of the bar is nice, however, if you've never been there and haven't reserved a VIP table, don't plan on receiving great service. Sure their push is champagne since it is called the Bubble Lounge but if you order a regular cocktail, the bartender doesn't seem to be as happy to serve you. We may have even enjoyed a bottle of champagne if the staff hadn't been so pretentious. We will not go back.

We recently took our family and friends to the View Lounge for a drink before we went to dinner. The views are great and we were able to find a table in front of the window. When we were there they did not have waitstaff for the tables so you had to order at the bar - no problem. However, we order 8 drinks from their specialty drink menu and both bartenders didn't seem to be familiar with any of them. Even though we ordered 3 of the same type of drink, all 3 were different, one came as a martini type drink, another as a cocktail, and so forth. One of the bartenders seem to give my Dad some attitude when he told him that it didn't seem like the right drink. I ended up taking 2 of the drinks back for replacement. By the time we had a second round, a waitress was just starting to serve the tables. We ordered the same drinks as before and she said that the bartenders were confused - again. Although we eventually got the correct drink, the bartenders' knowledge of their drink menu is zilch.

We took our sports car to Rich and his staff at Rich's Auto Body after I caught a curb with the side of our vehicle. It was a long deep scrape underneath the passenger door. Rich himself provided an estimate and also called the dealership to see how much the part would cost. Rich said that he would be able to fix it without replacing and repainting the part which we went ahead and did. The result was fantastic! The color match was perfect and it was done in just a couple of days. They installed it and you cannot tell that the part was ever damaged. I'd definitely bring a vehicle back to Rich because he was friendly and professional and the product was superb.

We've eaten at BJ's Restaurant and Brewery in San Bruno at the new Tanforan shopping mall twice now. Both times we've eaten in the bar area because the wait is over 1.5 hours. We were lucky that we were able to get an open table from people leaving in the bar. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, it is always crowded and has a sports bar feel with many TVs. The food was good, salads, soup and sandwiches are all great. The service both times was lacking. The wait staff seems to be inexperienced and although they may be understaffed, our waitperson forgot food items on both times we visited. We ended up cancelling our order for an appetizer the second time because we received our salad and entree with no mention of the appetizer. I think that our waitress forgot to place the order.

I had my haircut by Amanda at Trio Salon and also a highlight. I have curly hair and Amanda did a great job with both. My highlights turned out just as I wanted and the cut was also awesome. The staff at Trio are professional, friendly and it's fun. Completely unpretentious which I worried about, especially with it's Burlingame location. I am so happy that I found such a great salon that is close to me. I would recommend Amanda to any of my friends.
