The Newark Museum is a surprising find in the city. It is quite extensive and very comprehensive. There is art, an old home, a planetarium, science, nature, and much more. The museum refularly features traveling exhits and also offers great programs for children. The big downside is parking. Be prepared to pay for a very expensive lot or a long walk.
