I purchased furniture from TC, a Designer at the Coconut Creek location. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She assisted my wife and I when we inquired about Martha Stewart Lily Pond bedroom pieces. They had the single dresser as new, but the double-dresser was a showroom display piece, so when I asked for a deal, TC found Linda, a manager to discuss the pricing. Linda was professional and fair. I was pleased to get a price that would allow me to have the piece re-finished as the top was severely scratched through the lacquer into the stain. I returned the next day, paid by credit card and agreed to a Friday delivery. I received a call from Carl’s stating the delivery driver would call me on Friday morning to give me a better estimate of the delivery time. I received an email stating delivery was to be between 10:58 and 12:58 on Friday. Friday am the driver called an said between 2-6 pm. I cancelled my afternoon business and stayed home. 7 PM and no furniture, no call, nothing. Saturday I went back to Carl’s at 7:30 am hoping to find a truck being loaded so I could see if they were going to attempt delivery again. I entered the loading dock area and asked who was in charge. I spoke to a gentleman and he said they were the Patio team. He said Carl’s furniture is a separate operation. I told him of my experience and he said that happens all the time with the "furniture guys". Not a happy household at Carl’s. I returned later on Saturday and spoke with TC. She was very apologetic and kind and said she would find out what happened. She escorted my wife and I back to the office area where we asked for a manager. I met Bob and he said the warehouse team wasn't in till later that day. I told him of my displeasure and he said they would come out another day next week. Tuesday was the soonest. I said I lost a day of client calls and wasn't in a position to lose another day. He said he would give me free delivery ($99) and $100 off the deal.
