This is a great, modern community college with tons of learning options for students of all ages. Their campus is about two minutes from the a main highway and is easy to find with plentiful, well-lit, safe parking. There are several different classroom buildings so it can be difficult to find your way around at times. The campus buildings are well lit, and safe. The bathrooms are plentiful and clean.
The classes offered range from for credit courses for a degree program to non credit courses for individuals wishing to learn about a specific topic. Some of the recent non credit courses offered were for Feng Shui and cooking.
I would definitely recommend this college as a safe, inexpensive, local option for all learning needs.

This is a great small, private school! It's in the center of a small, quaint New England town, and is just charming. The selection of majors is very varied, and the professors are perfect for the small school atmosphere.
Everything at the school is well kept and clean. The staff is always friendly and warm. The academics and extra curricular activiies are diverse and well balanced.
The town itself is an extension of the school. All the restaurants and stores in the area cater to students and are in easy walking distance.

This is a wonderful minor league team! The parking lots are gigantic and provide plenty of close, safe, secure parking while one is at the game. The stadium is relatively new and is well designed and easy to access. There are concessions areas all over with lots of different food options from ice cream to hot dogs to nachos to chicken fingers. They also offer food delivery to the higher priced seats near the field. Very convenient! The bathrooms are clean and plentiful. The staff is always helpful.

I just love this theater! I've been there on numerous occasions to see many different performances. They have everything from performances by the Hartford Ballet to musicals to performances by touring acts such as The Phantom of the Opera, etc.
Parking can be difficult if you don't know where you're going, but is plentiful once you make it there. The building is old, yet beautiful and well kept. The three levels of seating are well organized and easy to access. I would personally recommend the front of the Mezzanine for the best view. Even better would be the "loge" section of the Mezzanine, which are the two arms that stick out from the Mezzanine and offer a spectacular, uninterrupted view of the stage.
I also prefer the Mezzanine because it is self contained and has a giant bar/coffee bar on its level to access during intermissions.
Every level has its own bathrooms which are large and clean and have plenty of stalls for all the visitors.

Even with all the construction going on there now it's an improvement over the junky place it used to be. It's run down, dirty and generally icky. Parking is a nightmare, as always. The only events I've gone to at the Civic Center have been during the afternoons as I would not recommend that area after dark. The arena was outdated and the bathrooms and concessions below par.
I would definitely NOT recommend to anyone, unless you desperately wanted to see a specific performance there!

I just love this mall! It has all kinds of great stores that I go to all the time. They're really the only place in the area that has a Coach store. I especially love that once you find a parking space (which isn't too hard with all their parking garages) you're good to go for the rest of the day. And the security there makes me always feel safe when going to my car.
The store selection is virtually endless with everything from Coach to Sephora to Filenes. It has truly every store you could want. And tons of restaurants of every kind and price range also.

This store has been around for years in town. It has had several locations, and I think this is the best one yet (as part of the Ellington Supermarket complex). The location is convenient as it is on Route 83. Parking is usually a breeze. I’ve shopped here for candy and gifts and cards and wrapping material and general health & beauty items and have always had a good experience. As there is only one cashier/checkout counter lines can sometimes be a problem, but not often. The staff is always nice and helpful if asked. Even though I do not get prescriptions there I’ve asked the pharmacist questions which were answered quickly and knowledgeably and with genuine thought and concern.

In a word – perfect! Truly one of the best grocery shopping experiences I’ve ever had! The store is in the perfect location for easy access and has tons of close parking, which is really a non issue since they actually have people who bag your groceries and bring them to your car and load them in for you!! The product selection is simply wonderful! I’ve never been more pleased with a grocery store deli and bakery before, but both are well worth the visit. Everything is fresh and yummy. The store is clean and the staff pleasant and helpful without being overbearing.

I’ve used this florist for everything from birthday flowers to Christmas wreathes to funeral flowers and have always been extremely pleased with the quality of the products and the service they provide. Ordering flowers for any occasion takes about 5 minutes from beginning to end over the phone and is an incredibly easy and pleasant experience. I’ve always found the staff knowledgeable and willing to discuss different options for various situations.

This gift shop is quite nice. Its rather small, but provides all the needs you could want while visiting a hospital. From flowers to candy to balloons to cards to magazines, it keeps you well stocked whether youre there for a quick test yourself, or visiting a friend or relative who has been admitted. The selection is remarkably large for such a small space and the volunteer staff is always pleasant, kind, and caring.
