Rochester Cardiopulmonary Group PC in East Rochester was a very bad experience to me. I can't believe there are people in the health profession that can treat people so bad. I was recovering from a heart attack and open heart surgery, and these people caused me so much stress that several nights I lost sleep, several days I had pain caused by them. They may be a big group and get most of their clients from General's Rochester Heart Institute, but they are no match to them in professionalism and care. When you walk in, they have 2 receptionist that ignore you, when you call you only get to talk to a receptionist and then have to play phone tag with a nurse for a few days. Sometimes they don't answer their phone. Two different times they were unable to complete, on time, forms for me with my limitations on it. Once told me the would leave the form for me at the front desk, and when I get there it was not there, then they called me back and said it was there even tho it was not. One receptionist even called me a liar and never even apologized when she was proven wrong. My Doctor was Berlowitz. I was never given a prescription for Nitro, till 3 month after my surgery, after a nurse from Unity called them about it, when I should have had it from day 1. Only saw my doctor 2 times, 1 time 30 days after surgery and a second time wasn't till 4 months after the surgery. When I complain to Berlowitz about any issues, he only responded by asking if I might need mental help and that it would only take one phone call and his wife works there.
