Good: Technician was prompt & courteous.. Bad: Tech didn't communicate well with us. Didn't do everything we asked. Wanted outdoor unit turned 1/4 turn on it's pad & wanted furnace serviced as well...he did neither & didn't offer to follow up at another time. When the unit was being charged with refrigerant, he sat in his truck rather than using the time more productively, time we paid for! I e-mailed Honke with my concerns, but received no response whatso ever & it's been several weeks since the e-mail was sent!. Improvements: Tech to be better trained in customer service & communication. Needs to learn how to suggest additional work & services. I was an HVAC dispatcher for 10 years & all techs were required to do "suggestive" selling. A follow up call from the service manager or company CSR would provide good feedback from customers as to customer satisfaction (or lack thereof).. Other: We will not call Honke Heating again for service on either our heating or air conditioning systems, nor will be look to Honke for bids on new or replacement equipment. In addition, if anyone asks us for recommendations for HVAC needs, we will not suggest Honke Heating.. more
