My family once stopped to look at a pre-owned car for sale on the lot. We were told by the young salesman that the car could not be test driven, it could only be driven after purchase was finalized. Nice car, horrible policy. I will never purchase any vehicle from any dealership which forbids test drives. Supposedly the policy was due to the "sheer horsepower" of the car; ironically, had it been at the dealership it was originally from, we could have test driven it or any other vehicle exactly like it. It could also be noted that since the car moved periodically from it's location, especially at night, it was obvious those who worked there drove it.....
