Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a fantastic food experience... Natalia and Lidiyia are the hosts of this homey russian restaurant. They also serve eastern european and greek food... but this evening we had a fantastic russian dinner.
We started with Borsch, which was heavenly... served with bits of cabbage, beets, and other small chopped veggies in a sweet but tangy broth and a dollop of sour cream. Next we had an eggplant spread appetizer with warm grilled pita. The spread was suprisingly sweet, but oh so good... next our entrees: meat blintzes stuffed with ground chicken and rice in wrapped in russian pancakes (very similar to crepes) and stuffed cabbage rolls (beef/rice mixture) topped with finely chopped veggies and a light tomato based broth. It was all so delicious... and very inexpensive to boot! Also we had a very special dessert made with mereinge and some kind of light creamy filling... I have never had anything like it!
We highly recommend this delightful restaurant. I guarantee that Natalia and Lidyia will serve you up a fantastic meal in a warm homey atmosphere...where you will look forward to going back again soon after your visit!
