I purchased a dishwasher from AJ Madison. The on-line store said it was "in stock" but it took 3 weeks to deliver. I paid for "in-home" delivery. I got a call the day before the delivery and was told the dishwasher would be delivered "before 8pm or the following morning between 8 and 11 am". The following night at 10 pm after I had already gone to bed and fallen asleep, the doorbell rang with the dishwasher! When I complained about the hour, the delivery person said "we are running late. So what?" They left the dishwasher on my front porch and threw the paperwork at me! I don't call that "in-home delivery" nor do I call it before 8pm OR the next morning. I have to get up at 4AM to go to work! I was two hours late!I called AJ Madison's delivery company. They were rude and obnoxious! I called Customer Service and asked for my delivery fee back. They only offered me a two year extended warranty OR the cost of the warranty which was less than $40. Not really enough for getting woken up and having to bring the thing in myself in my bathrobe! Nor is it worth having to take two hours leave from my job! I guess I have an unrealistic expectation that if they say before 8 or the next morning, it will happen!
I have already decided to purchase a full kitchen for one of my rental properties from someone else. I hope you will not use these people! I wont! I will keep you posted as to my resolution to this issue.
