When my son moved down here from New York, he did not have a license. First thing he got was his permit. However, it became obvious that I was not a very good instructor. Personally, I think parents do not make good driving instructors. I located this driving school, and my son was enrolled. He took several lessons, which included a class outlining the rules of the road here in Ohio, as well as the standard driving instructions. He was taken out in traffic, on the highways, and was instructed in the fine art of driving in the cones for the parking part of the test. He also liked his teacher, who was professional and friendly. I believe he had about 6 or 7 road lessons, and both my son and the driving instructor felt he was ready for the test. The school provided a car for the test, took him down to the testing area, and he took the test to pass on the first try. Cars are essential in this area, unlike New York where public transportation is available and the most common means of getting around. In order for my son to get a job here, he needed to have a car and a license. I feel Petit helped him attain his license quickly and properly and got him on the road to do the job thing. A fine school, professional and reasonably priced. A good choice for the beginner who needs help or the older person who is just getting around to driving. more
