$1 Tour 7/22/2009

Their hourly tour is grand. $1 to get in, on the hour every hour during the summer. It's not really a tour, but you are led to this viewing room to see the different stages of brewing. The fun part is you get to taste 5 of their beers in this giant triple shot glass. The guy will tell you a bit story and then drink...and you can always go up and ask for more. So it's a great deal if you love drinking. You get to keep the glass too. The restaurant downstairs is fun and good american restaurant food. Obviously they serve all of their Redhook beers. more

Red Hook Brewery 5/5/2006

We have had a couple of company functions at the Red Hook Brewery. First off, the tour is really interesting. I don't like beer so didn't try any but they sure served my co-workers a lot of beer of all different kinds. (The tour costs $1 but it seems as if you get tons of free beer samples, plus you get to keep your shot glass!) The food is pretty good and if you go there during nice weather, they have plenty of outdoor seating. more

$1 for 5 Mini-beers and a Glass 3/25/2006

The tour at Red Hook Brewery is more than just fun, it is also a great deal. You get to try 5 different types of Red Hook brews out of mini-glasses (probably about 8 oz), and you get a free glass. When I went, they were out of the mini-glasses, so they just threw in a pint glass for free. It looked liked the price of the tour varied depending on the day, but when I went it was only $1. Well worth the money. I've been to the bar/restaurant in the past, and it was good as well. The prices there aren't spectacular, but they aren't unreasonable either. The appetizers are good. Giddy-up. more

The place to go after a bike on a summer day 2/3/2006

This is a great place to go after a ride on the Lake Sammamish trail. The food is only OK and the service is beyond slow, but the location is so wonderful. BTW, the bar actually isn't name the Red Hook Brewery, it has some other name, so sorry for listing it here. The patio is huge outside, but it gets super crowded so get there early or late. Best thing on the menus are the burgers. We've tried the salads and so forth and they are "Red Robin" OK. The brews are of course great. Get the sampler! more

Killer summertime hangout 11/2/2005

One of the best parts of the eastside is the triangle tour (Red Hook, Columbia Winery and Chateau Ste Michelle). I was introduced to Red Hook beer when I first got here, and thought it was pretty good. But then, I went straight to the source, and it's amazing! I really enjoy their cask and nitro beers on tap when there, and they have a good hummous plate. During the summer, they have a big back deck with a ton of wooden benches and a bar. It's a really great way to spend an afternoon with a good group of friends. If you don't want to drink and drive (which is VERY smart -- Don't drink and drive people!!), you can always ride your bike there, its just off the Burke Gilman Trail. Now that's good planning! more
