I recently retained this attorney to help enforce my legal rights. After paying a retainer and 175.00 and 175.00 an hour for services I assumed I had legal representation.
Well I retained her on a Thursday. That Saturday a new problem arrose in the same case so I called her office and left a message for her.
Monday came, NO RETURN CALL,
Tuesday came, NO RETURN CALL,
so on Tuesday I called her again just in case she didnt get my message and I left a new one with her secretary.
I still got a NO RETURN CALL, on Tuesday still and then the next day on Wednesday still NO RETURN CALL.
So I originally called on Saturday and come Thursday morning 5 days later I have heard nothing from my so called attorney. But she has for sure cashed my check for her so called services.
So then I call back on Thursday. I finally get her to take the call and then she tells me I am repeatedly calling her so she doesnt feel she can help me that my expectations are to high of her.
WHAT? MY EXPECTATIONS ARE TO HIGH! IS IT OUT OF LINE WHEN YOUR PAYING FOR A SERVICE TO MAYBE EXPECT TO GET THAT SERVICE. AM I DEMANDING TO MUCH TO ASK FOR A RETURN PHONE CALL WITHIN A 5 DAY PERIOD? DO I NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK TO MY ATTORNEY IF A PROBLEM COMES UP ON MY CASE AND TO KEEP HER INFORMED? I thought thats why you get an attorney.
I am seriously tired of these attorneys asking for all your money but after you leave their office you had better not call, ask any questions, or expect them to do their job in a timley fashion or your treated like your out of line.
Well thanks Karen for wasting a week of my time, doing noting for the retainer and clearly not able to perform her duties as an attorney. In the week she had my case she hadnt even started on it.Is that why she didnt want to talk? Maybe needs some training on how to dial a phone. maybe its called respect to the clients that pay YOUR bills.
So I can honestly say that I can not recommend this lawyer! Unless you like flushing money and wasting precious time.
