This place has fresh, unique dishes that you just can't find elsewhere. The menu has an assortment of both sweet and savory crepes. The salads are dressed with a delicious raspberry vinagrette. They also have a very good hummus appetizer. Located conveniently in Uptown Whittier and reasonably priced. Very good service, too.

If you're looking for a place to eat in Whittier, Phlight is definitely the place. The atmosphere has a very cool and modern vibe. The food is fun to eat and share. The mac and cheese with the spanish chorizo is amazing (vegetarians can get it without chorizo). I was wary about ordering French Toast for dessert, but it was AWESOME! Great place to hang out with friends. I also highly recommend the cheese plate, paella, and blue cheese lamb burgers. I have now been a couple of times and will definitely go there again!
Pros: Hip, reasonable prices, good food

the food is so delish...i can honestly tell you everything about each dish!!! The service is always great, the decor is so romantic and pleasant...the salad and breadsticks...my new found love is that cheese fonduta...its like melted cheese and comes with these bread slices,very good...i always try there new dishes and the latest one...filled ravioli with chicken in a cream sauce...sooooo good..the steak gorgonzola alfredo also very tasty...drinks and desserts are great and everything is affordable.

As a second- generation Italian, I was skeptical when by best friend suggested we try out what she said was "the best italian food she's ever had," but I was pleasantly surprised! The decor is adorable, and the food incredible-- they have a tuna and red onion pizza that is more similar to focaccia-- and it's incredible. The Calabrese salad is as tasty as it is beautiful. It gets really busy on the weekends-- but totally worth the wait. I disagree about the lack of a wine list-- the focus is on authentic cuisine, there. Anyways, bars are for drinking, restaurants are for eating... and the house red wine compliments the dishes well enough, for my taste. But I agree-- it is the best Italian food in the area, by far.

I've lived in Whittier for 9 years, there are only a handful of great spots in the city! Spin is a boasts excellent food, creative delicous drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. They have nightly specials Martini Mondays, and Wine Wednesdays (I know I sound like a lush, Ive only been ther 2X) The food is amazing, cocunut shrimp with real coconuts served with orange marmalade, chicken tacos served with a mango salsa, delicous!! And for happy hour its so affordable, the homemade sangria was only 2.50 a glass, yummy! They also have a few big screen tv's. Great spot to go with friends for happy hour during the week.

It might be just a hole in the wall but their tacos are delicious. I always get the taco plate con carnitas. I have also found that they have the best spicy carrots as well. I take home bags from each visit! They have a lot of items to choose from.
