Wave Waterpark

I just took my 3 year old daughter there today. It was a fun, but a bit crowded, atmosphere. One negative is that there is not a shallow play area for the little kids not quite ready to "swim" with the big kids. There is a kid area, but it is for ages 3-12- and there is a huge difference in the way these ages play! My daughter did go up the first level climbing area and went down a slide. I was glad I had positioned myself at the end of it as she came literally flying off of it- she would have landed a good two feet from the end of the slide. She banged her head halfway down and then again when she left the slide.... She recovered, no more sliding, and we enjoyed floating around the "river" on a tube for the rest of the day. I thought it was nice that they provide tubes for free... Food was reasonably priced and great that you can bring your own in if you want. Hard to find close parking. Staff was nice and seemed to be attentive to doing their assigned jobs! more

This place is always great. THe rides are numerous and the lines are usually not very long. It is the ideal spot for a hot summer day and is great for the entire family. They offer attractions for kids to adults. Give it a try! more

At 13 bucks the Wave Waterpark packs some sort of a punch. Its got a wave machine that everyone seems to enjoy as well as the lazy river. The wave is perfect to cool down during all these hot summer days. The food is reasonably priced. There are a couple slides that provide some entertainment and an olympic pool that brings it. Its a great place to cool down and relax. more

The Wave is a fun local water park. All the other water parks parks are at least an hour or more away. This is local and fun. Not as big as some of the other "chain" parks but definitely worth the trip on a hot summer day. I have always enjoyed this park. There is a lap pool and water slides and a kiddie area. They have a snack bar where you can get refreshments or you can bring your own. The waterpark is located in downtown so you are close to all the local shops as well.
