I am THRILLED with Thomaston Oil Co. I have been unemployed off and on for two years and had to apply for Energy Assistance... Thomaston Oil is one of the few companies who are participating in this program. The office staff is VERY kind and personable and their service has been outstanding. I got my fuel 1 day after I was approved... AND it was first thing in the morning! Can't ask for more than that! I am sending them a Thank You card in fact, which I don't do often. When I can afford to pay for fuel, Thomaston Oil will definitely be getting my business... and I am recommending them to ALL of my friends and family.

The Thomaston Opera House is a great value and lots of fun. The productions that I have seen there are widely varied from Gilbert & Sullivan to Rocky Horror. It is an initimate, old refurbished theatre that's easy to get to with lots of public parking available.

This is a great campground with plenty of campsites and recreation. There are ample bathrooms and many water stations. The park staff is friendly and helpful and the sites are well maintained. The price is very inexpensive and it is easy to get to. A great place to get away for a romantic weekend with that special someone, or with the whole family.
