Nittany Bank is the place to open an account if you're new in town. The tellers are great, and the best part is that there aren't typical banking window/tall counters--most transactions take place with you sitting in a chair, facing a teller at a regular desk. This approach really makes you feel less intimidated at the bank (plus they always have candy!).
Also, they will roll your coins for free here, which is a huge time saver, and a nice service they provide. I have always have excellent experiences here and I am glad to have my money with them.
