The Strack and Van Til's store in Schererville is awesome. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is perfect for me because I work midnights. The store is clean and well stocked. The one and only complaint I have is that I wish there was someone available in the meat department 24 hours a day. There's no one available to package up ground meat if there isn't any in the meat area. Other than that, everything is perfect. The cashier's are friendly. No hassles if I need a rain check for something (and that doesn't happen very often). Also, they are willing to help you find something if you can't find it yourself. Strack's get 5 stars from me.
