This was my favorite restaurant of all time. I will miss it immensely.
The food was always great. Great cheeses, delicious (and some exotic) meats, and decadently delicious chocolate. They also had a great wine selection and the service was absolutely top notch. I visited many times (10+) and never had a bad experience. I'm very disappointed with the fondue restaurant that took it's place. Same eclectic and lush interior, but that's where the similarities end (especially in the service department).
I miss you La Fondue.

Went here for Easter Brunch and it was delicious. The lemon pancakes are so yummy and moist. They have great Mimosas here as well. The food is a bit pricy but the food is well worth it. The portions are huge and everything on the menu sounds good. I'll be going back soon.

I love this restaurant. The food is awesome and unique! The Ramos House specializes in Contemporary American Cuisine. Great place to go for a Sunday morning brunch, and you must try the Bloody Mary's!

This place is so tasty. Being mexican, I love mexican food (and drinks, of course). This place was a great find and I have been back several times. The prices are reasonable, the service is great, and the general feel of the restaurant is awesome. Try their burritos when you go. Also, get a marg but have it made with Patron and Ty Ku (the bartender will know what you are talking about). Its super good. SUmmary: LOVE THIS PLACE

My wife and I love to take the train and the Rendezvous is a wonderful destination. Just a two-minute walk from the station in San Juan Capistrano, with charming dining cars for seating and delicious food, you would have to try really hard to find a better way to spend a Friday or Saturday afternoon and evening. We chose to dine in the piano bar where we were entertained by Kate Reid, a really great jazz piano player and singer. The service was prompt, attentive, but not intrusive. The food was really fabulous ... prepared and presented beautifully. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

El Molino de Oro, since its makeover, is now more appealing to those 'gringos' who are used to the fast-food look. But don't be disappointed by a more mainstream look, they still have the BEST menudo ever (Sat & Sun) as well as other wonderful mexican fare. You can stay in familiar territory, or venture out out to tacos made from tongue (my favorite!), tripe, brains, or goat. Their chili rellenos are to die for! You can get cervesas and be in mexican food heaven! The portions are generous, and the service quick and helpful.

This place is tucked away but worth the find! We were very impressed with their customer service as well as the flower arrangements that we had ordered for my mother's funeral. They were able to take what we discussed and honor my mother with absolutley beautiful work! It is hard to find that kind of customer service nowadays!

My girlfriends and I came here for Ladie's Night last Thursday (20% the total tab.) We started off the night with a round of awesome martini's (huge ones too!) I had the Lemon Cream Pie martini, I think it's my new vice!! My friend had the Bad Girl martini, she liked it so much, she had 3!! (I was driving.) Anyways, we order and get our salads. You have to try the gorgonzola salad, probably the best dressing ever! Next comes the cheese. Spicy Pepperjack----out of this world yummy!! Now the entrees: bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin, scallops, sesame ahi tuna---I'm in heaven!!! Chocolate time!!! Two words: Raspberry Cabernet.....dark chocolate with raspberry sauce and cabernet wine swirled in...still with me? Beautiful decor, top notch server, downtown San Juan Cap, and martini's....my new favorite place!!! I used to go to the other fondue place, but now I'm a convert!!! It might just have to become our weekly girl's night out on Thursday nights!!
