Jefferson Patterson Park is a history and archaeology museum, covering the Chesapeake Bay region. There are many exhibits that are very educational, as well as special programs throughout the year. It is only open Wed-Saturday during April through October, but the admission is free. A good place to take the kids to learn about their region.
