We placed an order with batteryedge for a laptop battery in August 2009. Within a few months the battery died. We contacted the company for a warranty replacement and were sent a replacement unit in May 2010. While rare, bad batteries happen and it was replaced.
Within five months the NEW battery died. We contacted batteryedge again indicating the SECOND battery failed within months. However this time customer service indicated the battery was out of warranty (1 year claimed on website) and they would not replace the unit.
Customer service indicates they have less than 2% failure rate with their batteries, but we have experienced 100% failure rate. I suspect they are selling used batteries and replacing returned defective units with more returned defective units.
I would not recommend batteryedge and will not do business with them again.
