Citrus Chicken is to die for ! 6/1/2007

My wife and I "discovered" Thai food more than 20 years ago and, more often than not, when we dine out it will be Thai. That said, the Siam in Park Ridge is the only Thai restaurant that I know of that serves Citrus Chicken. It is so good it is almost like eating dessert! Although the online menu speaks only to the preparation of the Chicken, wait until you taste the greens that come with it. I would suggest that you not ask what you are eating until after you've tasted them - what a PLEASANT surprise. more

Quest For Thai 4/27/2006

On my quest these days for some great Thai food I have discovered this place. I only ate here once, but based on my overall experience I will say their food and service is very good. Each Thai place is so much different in the Chicago area. I love to try the peanut sauce from Thai places, the one from here was fair. Thai eggs rolls are so much different than Chinese egg rolls, the ones from here were decent. The portions are very large and the prices are reasonable. I like visiting Park Ridge often and have now added this place on my growing dining list. more

My Thai should be Your Thai 1/13/2006

Great place to eat Thai. The crab rangoon is aright but they have tasty egg rolls, basil chicken, and some really yummy fried rice. Unlike some places you won't find half of the cooking oil in your food. The menu is full of tasty things to eat and drink. I suggest you bring a credit card but if you're like me and use cash bring $20-$40 to feed you and your many friends. If it's just two of you $20 should do you okay. more

Great for Lunch 10/22/2005

This attractive restaurant has really held its own here in town. Many establishments come and go, but it is still here. The reason could be the good food. They have fried rice and pad Thai to die for. There is a long list of lunch specials which include an egg roll and soup for a very low price. It can get fairly crowded at lunchtime. If I want a really special treat, I will order red or green curry. Kind of sinful, but delicious. There are quite a few more familiar Chinese dishes as well. I have done lots of carry out here and always been pleased. more
