""WELCOME TO THE SHOW""\r The Tacony-Palmyra Bridge Drive-In Theater opened in May of 1957 on 65-acres in Palmyra, NJ. National Amusements, Inc.(NAI) of Norwood, MA. owned and operated the drive-in. NAI now operates the IMAX theaters in the US and owns CBS Corp., Viacom/Paramount Pictures, 1,500 movie screens and the Tacony-Palmyra Flea Market in Palmyra, NJ. Surprised? Yes, NAI continues to own those 65-acres and has operated the flea market since the drive-in closed in September of 1986. They continue to operate the original concession stand with modern prices. You just don't get to see the movie. NAI now has plans for an indoor flea market on the site. Estimates say that 10,000 people visit the flea market on an average weekend. The drive-in had a capacity of 1,000 cars. No wonder there is a parking problem. And those 'bumps' in the parking lot? Just a nostalgic reminder from the old Tacony-Palmyra Bridge Drive-In. I have been going to this flea market for 15 years buying, about 5 years ago my daughter and I would sell out there once a year, just to clear out kids stuff. It was about $15.oo to sell for 1 day, then in 08 it went to $50.00 for 1 day. SO OVER PRICED. When you can go down to Berlin for $35.00 for Sat and Sun. No improvement since it re-opened, so how do you justify the cost increase like that. Will buy but not sell at that price, not worth the trip. I just went there this past weekedn with my family and they have great prices and a lot of different items. i recommend to go and buy giftsfor future holidays. A lot of ed Hardy and other popular name brands. I just dont recomend eating there the Food area is really dirty and gross. Pros: great price and items Cons: Food Area is nasty dirty more

I was just there this past weekend for the first time and i must say it is worth it. I do not understand all these people complaining about the parking lot. It is a flea market normally when you go to one you try to be there as early as possible. One to get the great deals and two to get parking! I got there around 8.30am and it was fine, plenty of parking. Me and my boyfriend got so many things for so cheap! Prices are great quality is great! we are already planning to go back. And now that we found out it opens at 6am, we will be there at 6am to aviod crowds and this so called parking issue...if you like to save money, come here its the place to do it! PARKING IS HORRIBLE, I DROVE 2 HOURS TO GET HERE AND ONE AND HALF HOURS TO GET INTO THE PARKING LOT. DID NOT GET ON THE LOT TILL 10 AM BUT ARIVED AT 7.55AM. JUST NOT WORTH THE WAIT TO PARK. A LOT OF TEE SHIRT SELLERS, MOSTLY "" SOUTH OF THE BORDER"" SELLERS. SEEN A FIST FIGHT IN THE BACK ON MY WAY IN OF TWO DRUNK VENDERS. Hey guys, this is awesome news for a lot of vendors and customers, Finally Tacony Palmyra FLEA MARKET is ReOpening on AUGUST 16th of 2008. Lots of Vendors and Customers were waiting for that to happen and now it is. I am a vendor myself, i sell household, health and beauty products at spot C2. I have been a vendor for over 20 years and have been fathfully showing up and paying for my reserved spot. I would think that either the township or the people that worked at the flea market could tell us vendors when and if it might open. We all have been out of work since March and bills are hard to pay. Us loyal venders have been treated so unfair by the township and management. more

Great flea market! Been going here for years. Have made a lot of friends among the venders here. Pros: Great deals. Terrific variety of goods, crafts, tools, household, clothing. Love it!! Cons: Could be more parking, better driveways for entry / exit. more

ok first thing i notice is the traffic comming over into the lot area . the next thing has to be the worst parking lot ever ( some describe it like a surface of mars ) after fing a parking space ( which requires patience ) you will get out of your car and hope your not leaking fluids and i don't what's up with the food area it just looks like wrong things go on in there . some male of hispanic disent was comming of there it looked like he just done land scaping so you know i did'nt any thing comming out of there ........................ now for the good something for everybody hunting knives , stuff for the wife , games & toys for the kids , jordans for the male and nice quality too one thing though can we agree the throw backs need to step there game up ( i mean how hard is it to spell larrry brd ? ) and the eagles throwbacks were worse ( regge black ???? ) but for the bargins almost betting the shopping at a regular store but i hope with all the time they've had off they did some thing with the paking lot my wife's mini van can't take it ........................... ps : bring back kidd chris Pros: great price for knock off items, jordan sneaks $ 50, something for everybody Cons: horrible parking lines to get in & out, food area looks horrible , non-english speaking workers more

Despite previous false reports by the uninformed, the Tacony-Palmyra Flea Market, which has been temporarily closed since early March, will be reopening at the end of May. Contrary to rumors, the report on TV said NOTHING about the market not opening. The management of the market has confirmed that they are indeed reopening. They are simply waiting for confirmation of removal of all of the antique ordinance. more

Tacony Palmyra Flea Market is not re-opening.They did find shells there months ago but it was just on ch. 10 on the news that they moved the new location for the EXPO center there so the flea markets is NOT reopening. Most of the vendor's are staying near New York at the medow lands and some of the vendors that are local all moved to Berlin Farmers market...It was on the news last week more
