If you live in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area, or go to UA, and have never been to City....well, let's just say you haven't really lived! City is one of those places you just have to go to. You'll find that you'll go there again and again, too--it's that good! It gets very busy at lunchtime, though, so either go early or be prepared for a wait. They have breakfast, and also plate lunches that vary by day. My favorite was the chicken fried steak and fried green tomatoes. Those maters were awesome! The sweet tea is super sweet and yummy. The waitresses are all really nice, and always manage to get your order filled quickly and your drinks refilled, even when they are super busy. City is one of the places I miss most about T-town.

THe food is great at Buddy's. Whether you go there for breakfast, lunch dinner or the afternoon "coffee club" you will not be disappointed. It is always fun when Buddy is there. Watch out, he will pick on some one when he is there. If it's not the waitresses, its someone else. Hey it might even be you. When you go, go hungry. This big man puts a lot of food on your plate!

They are still really good and they make whatever pizza you want and even when you request something they will bring it to your table as long as they keep this up I will remain a customer. Also as long as the food stays good. So far I haven't had any problems or complaints about this place although one time they had a leak in the roof that dripped in a bucket near the drinks but other than that this place is great.

WOW! This place is so great! Its very good place for big groups, family, or just a date. Food is tasty and smells so great as soon as its places in front of you. Workers are very nice and will get you whatever you want whenever you want. Bathrooms are very clean. i would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves tasty and real mexican food. You wont regret it i promise!

I love the pulled pork BBQ, and chicken at bottomfeeders. The service is really good too. Best of all they always have a special homemade desert and it is always different, either cobbler, or cake, or pie. THe best thing is they have different size serving for different eaters, so just get a half if you don't eat a whole lot. These folks can really cook!

These folks over at the Wharf have feeled a void that I have been feeling since the army barn closed. They have a lot of western clothes, boots, shoes, and the like but most importantly they have military surplus. Not as much as I would like granted but its a start. If they only realized the demand for surplus they could make a killing. The folks are super nice and always helpful and the prices aint bad at all.
