This is a small place with decent music on a tiny stage and very good food. Because it is crowded and the service is spotty, you have to chill-out and relax to have a good time here. The food is served in very small ""tapas"" style portions which look cheap on the menu, but can really add up. Most items are $7-$11 and are 2-3 bites. I find the food here eclectic, but high quality. The menu seems to change often. They also require cash payment or credit card in advance - which bothers a lot of customers. \r

Overall, something of a mixed bag. As a restaurant, it is too crowded and service is poor. As a music club, there is no cover, but drinks are expensive and sets are short. No piano. But you can have a nice experience here if you can overlook the problems - much like New Orleans in general
