Six generations of my family have been buried at this funeral home. Schoen's is a traditional New Orleans family business. They provide excellent service such as providing mass (Catholic), viewing and honoring special requests. Handicapped accessible. In addition there's a lounge where one can get a drink or snack out of the machine while attending the viewing. Not that it's a party but if you have kids or elderly persons, it's a nice distraction.
