This place has a great thing going on; it's the latest fad: get rid of unwanted hair permanently.
They have certified nurses doing the treatments and that's a big plus. The prices are competitive.
The negative: the staff isn't necessarily customer service related.
Parking is mall parking, need I say more. Their hours are great since they're open the same hours as the mall.
This place offers many other services outside of hair removal, but I'm not familiar with everything they do. By the way, they have another location at the Great Mall.

Though this venue occasionally plays some decent movies, it is quite old and dilapidated looking, and not at all inviting. In an area where there are many newer and more modern theaters withing driving distance, this place is often quite deserted, and for good reason. It looks like it was built 30 years ago and hasn't been modernized since. You're better off renting the DVD than spending the money to watch movies here.

I had a bad experience the last time I dropped by Lens Crafters. My glasses had become crooked and were giving me a headache, so I asked one of the technicians to please adjust them for me. She was very snotty about it and acted like she was too busy to give me and my sorry glasses any attention. I requested a couple more times in case she hadn't heard me, explaining my eye strain pain. She reluctantly took my glasses and took all of 5 seconds to tweak them. There was a slight improvement, but I was so fed up with her rude dismeanor that I hightailed it outtta there. The only reason I had been a customer of Lenscrafters in the past was because of Dr. Nguyen. She is the most bubbly, happy-go-lucky, energetic optometrist I have ever met. Her memory is still with me, but sadly I think she has moved on to a private practice in another location. Good for her, but bad for me.

The best way to get a deeper discount here is to join their music club thingy. I don't remember the exact name they use for it, but every cashier will know what it is. I got an extra 20% by signing up for it; they give you a membership card on the spot and you agree to receive emails from them. I appreciated the ability of the workers to navigate the selection of the store to a tee. They helped me track down some old artists that I had been searching for for months.

When western medicine doesn't work for you, it's time to turn to the amorphous world of alternative medicine. I had been suffering from chronic pain for a few years when I decided to seek out some extra help. The acupuncture clinic was scary to me at first because I am wary of needles. But, after a couple of treatments, I noticed an improvement and my fear of needles became secondary to the relief I felt. The herbal tea concoctions that I drank were strange and overly strong, however.

This Baker's Square has certain dishes that are very good. You have to be careful what you choose to order, as you could very well end up with something too fatty or too salty. I appreciate the fact that they very often distribute coupons in the Sunday mailer. They also offer a senior discount. My favorite dish here is the pot roast and pork chops. It comes with a smooth brown gravy and side of mashed potatoes. The sugar free pie is not bad.

Hometown buffet charges a few dollars more than healthier counterparts like Fresh Choice and Sweet Tomatoes (all in relatively in the same area). It is about $9 to eat here. The line can become very long on the weekends and holidays, as long as stretching across the length of the restaurant out the door. They serve basic american food like mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, corn on the cob, apple pie, salads, and soup. They also have a little section for Chinese food and Mexican food in the grilling area at the back.

My family and I took our yearly portrait pictures at Sears studioa few years ago. We were drawn in because of a 15% off sitting fees and one free sheet promotion at the time that was advertised in the paper. Setting up the appointment was pretty painless. We showed up on time and the photographer led us into one of the rooms where we chose props and backgrounds. The session was quick and I felt that the photographer could have done more arranging. The end product was decent, but I think the pictures would've turned out better with more instruction. A nice perk was the proof sheet in color.

The Hollister store really catches your eye as you walk by; it is hard to miss because the front of the store is done up more elaborately than any other merchant in the whole mall. They have fake tree leaves and a wilderness cabin motif with wooden steps leading up to the entrance. The prices of the merchandise is more because you are paying for the atmosphere, too.
