Kelly's Outer Banks Restaurant & Tavern has fabulous food in the restaurant and their catering service is just as good. They will cater an event for you or you can order the food from Kelly's, pick it up, & DIY. I've been to many parties & events catered by Kelly's & they have some of the best party food. And the selection is great - stuffed mushroom capss, sweet potatoe biscuits (if you've never had a sweet potatoe biscuit you NEED to quit depriving yourself & try one ASAP!), several seafood choices, etc.
