Loved the store in the past, but phone has been disconnected and store is no longer there. I wish I knew where I could get supplies now.

I placed an order with them using a gift certificate where there was a small balance left afterwards that was not covered by the gift card, which I paid with a credit card online....

I placed an order with them using a gift certificate where there was a small balance left afterwards that was not covered by the gift card, which I paid with a credit card online. A day after the order was completed and my credit card billed (note, my card was already billed), I received an email from the owner asking for my credit card info to pay for the remaining balance. After explaining the situation, the owner (Lynn) responds with a smug email ignoring my explanation, nearly reiterating the first email and asking for me to send my credit card information to re-bill me! Later they realize that this was a mistake and I have already been billed, but no apology was given and instead insisted that their 25 years in business that have never had an issue like this. Looking at this site, clearly, the problem is them. This all comes after fighting with a poor website design, near impossible checkout system riddled with errors (it would not let me change my shipping for instance), and then this mess. Not to mention the prices here are nearly 1.5x what you can find elsewhere online with little effort. If it was not for the gift card, I would have not spent any money here. Seriously, look elsewhere. more

May want to keep in mind that you're not the only supplier of cooking supplies before treating your customers so badly..... 11/26/2012

I ordered some specialized products to make candies, brittles, and gelee for my boyfriend's birthday. The order was missing an item, the customer service at Kitchen Krafts was awful, and the order took forever to arrive. As part of a promotion I was supposed to receive some cupcake decorative items. This promotion was actually why I had chosen to order from Kitchen Krafts instead of one of their many other competitors. These items were not included in the package, and when I contacted customer service they were exceedingly rude and unhelpful. Needless to say they didn't fix the problem (or even try to really). Additionally, my order took forever to arrive, and didn't get here until almost a week after his birthday. For some reason, the package spent a almost a week about a 1 hour drive from my home, and their shipper didn't publish an expected ship date until the last minute (which would have been helpful for planning purposes) and when they finally did publish an expected arrival date, it was inaccurate. Admittedly, the shipping problems may not be completely within Kitchen Kraft's control. However, to make missing my boyfriend's birthday even more aggravating, Kitchen Krafts sent me an email asking me to review their products 4 days before the order even arrived. The whole experience was pretty frustrating, and I will be ordering my cooking supplies from someone else from now on. more

Really poor customer service 10/22/2012

Kitchen Krafts sent the wrong items. When I called to let them know they badgered me over the item # even though I told them clearly it did not match the item # on the invoice. Then they wanted to know if I had used the items. Hello, I told you I just received them! Additionally, I need the item to fill a candy order by a deadline and even though they sent the wrong item they would not overnight the replacements. So now I will miss my order or have to make other plans for the candy. Overpriced items and way overpriced shipping. Stay away, buy from local stores if possible. This company doesn't care about their customers. more

Wrong price, no apology 12/13/2011

I found Kitchen Krafts listing Create a Shape cake pan for $9.99. After ordering I received an e-mail stating the price was off by $15.00. No apology, just either respond in 48 hours or the order will be cancelled. Any physical store with a wrong price either on the item or shelf would have been sold at that price. Lack of attention to detail, lack of customer service, and not once a simple apology for the inconvienance. more

These people need to be trained on customer service because it is non-existent. I tried to call to return a product and no one answers the phone and no one even bother to call me back after I had left a message. The prices on their products aren't that great either, so I don't really see a need to ever use this company again. more

The people who work for this company is in dire need of customer service skills. I tried to call numerous times to return an item and no one ever answers their phone. You leave a message and no one calls you back. If this is the kind of service that you need, then go ahead and use this company, otherwise, there's plenty of online stores you could find for the items that they sell. Their prices aren't the best either. I find no reason to use this company again. more

Yes, they may have items that are difficult to find elsewhere, but they are completely clueless from a customer service standpoint. They refused to take back defective items and hung up on me twice. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company. I would never buy another item from them again. more

Don't trust this company. Don't buy here. Jennifer Lloyd in customer service duplicated my order. I TRIED to place it online but their site didn't work for almost two days. Finally called it in and took 5 calls to get someone to pick up. No return calls were made to my 4 prior messages. They duplicated my order by processing the online order that did not go through initially. I got the duplicate and called immediately. They promised to send return slips for pick-up. 7 days later, nothing. I called more

Kitchen Krafts 1/29/2007

This store has everything you need for your baking and pastry needs. Things that are hard to find--they'll be there. High quality products and at standard rates. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If there is something you need that they don't carry they will tell you where to find it. They have everything from adults and children's cooking classes to homemade fruit fillings and fresh meringue powder. For each holiday and season they will have new theme related products available. I definitely recommend this store. more

Kitchen Krafts - great store 4/16/2006

I love the Kitchen Krafts store. They almost always have what I'm looking for. We do a lot of baking and we are always needing some small thing to make our baking easier and they always seem to have it. They have cake pans, boxes for everything from cakes to pies to candy, candy melts, icings, food and icing colors, tons of kitchen gadgets, and more. They also have cake decorating classes and cooking classes. Wish the store was a little bit bigger so things could be more spread out. I give Kitchen Krafts 4 stars. more
