If you are looking for some great Italian Pastries. . .the Last Stop Bakery in Liverpool IS the place to go. . .I found this place quite by accident at the Festa Italiana about 5 years ago. Their pastries are without a doubt the best in the area . . . even better than the "Florentine" My Dad is from Brooklyn, so I grew up with lots of Italian pastries from "Scottos" in Brooklyn and I gotta tell you the pastries at Last Stop are just as good as any Brooklyn bakery if not better! Their Sfogliatelle are the best I have ever had and I have had lots of them. They also make a great Easter Pie, we call that "Pizza Gran" (Grain Pie). It is really wonerful!
