This diner is very dirty and the food is lousy. A group of us went there and ordered different entrées and it was terrible. The silverware was dirty as was the glasses and coffee cups. The food was cold or overcooked or just frozen and heated up. I felt like puking in the toilet but the bathroom was filthy and smelled terrible. When we tried to complain the old woman at the register just smirked and didn't say anything. Nasty people with terrible attitudes - we are thinking of contacting the health department as the restaurant looks disgusting and is filthy. more

One of my all-time favorites 8/17/2005

Wow...what can I say about this place except that it's GREAT? This is one of the best diners in New Jersey, the diner capital of the world. The menu is enormous and you can't go wrong no matter what you order. Everything I've ever had there has been delicious and always reasonable. If you're frugal you can eat a full meal for less than $10, but the great food always convinces me to spend more! They have so many kinds of food, a bar, great desserts, a nice casual atmosphere, and a friendly staff. The staff is even accommodating to large groups, which is great because it is a favorite among my friends. An excellent choice for a meal with friends, but great no matter what! more
