My wife and I have been enjoying the Chart House for the last 2 years now, and we are rarely disappointed when we visit them. We've chose the Chart House for everything from a drink with friends to a full sit down meal to a private party to celebrate a special occasion in their dining room. Our experiences always seem to be nothing short of spectaculiar. I would recommend trying the Prime Rib on the weekends, and definitely make it a point to experience the Sunday brunch, champagne is included!
Pros: Location just off I-35, beautiful outdoor patio scenery with seating for dinner

I have known about this place for several years, and never tried it until tonight... which is a shame, because it was FANTASTIC! The meals were not only delicious, they were the right amount, and very reasonably priced for the portions. (I hate it when restaurants give you portions that are too big.... that contributes to much of this country's health problems, not to mention the huge waste!) Our server was very attentive, and patient. Maybe the decor and surroundings aren't quite up to the scale of a so-called 'higher end restaurant,' but the friendly atmosphere and great food outweigh that! If you go out to look at a pretty lake and expensive surroundings, with mediocre food and bad service, I know there are places close-by! If you like a nice atmosphere and tatsty food, then stop at Harry's. I would SO recommend this place to any of my friends. (I have eaten at many very good restaurants, so I do not make this recommendation lightly.)
Pros: The food is not only great, it is great value.
Cons: If you are looking for soft lights and fancy decor, the 'average' decor here may put you off... which would be your loss!

Copper Bleu is absolutely gorgeous inside! From the candelabra's and artful lighting, to the rich woodwork, and curvaceous glass tiled bar. Summer is perfect for the tree lined patio, and sitting around the Fire Pit. The staff is friendly and well informed. The menu has everything from Sandwiches, Burgers and Salads, to Steaks, Pasta, and Seafood. I've eaten there many times, and I love it.
My favorite's are Coconut Shrimp, Jake's Beef Tenderloin Fondue, Szechwan Green Beans, Seafood Pan Roast, Bleu Crusted Filet, Maple-Walnut Walleye, Prime Rib, and the Cedar Plank Salmon.
They have a Mashed Potato cart that comes to your table, and mashes them to order for you, and the creamed corn is the best. For a new restaurant, they've done an amazing job. My only dig, is that there isn't one closer to my house.
Pros: Food - Ambience - Patio - Bar - Fire Pit - Service - Bathrooms - music

This is my favorite furniture shop to go to. It's easy to get to, and you can get free cookies and pop. They also have an area for kids with a video playing. Their furniture is separated into a lot of catagories, like Country HOM, contemporary HOM, and a lot more. It's easy to get around, and they even have a clearence center, which they add new items pretty much daily.

Nan did a fabulous job capturing every aspect of our wedding from the engagement, to day of preparations and the intimate ceremony and larger reception! She sincerely took the time to get to know us as a couple, and what we envisioned for our day! She captured the tiniest aspects of the wedding - many that i wasn't even aware of in the blur of the day. It's such a treat to look through the photos that truly capture the energy, excitement and personalities of our big day! She put everyone at ease during the photo process, our entire family commented on how wonderful Nan was to work with. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Nan for any of your photography needs!

The staff at this clinic really care about their patients. I didn't feel rushed during my visit. Everyone took time to answer each and every one of my questions. The clinic offers traditional medicine (well adult/well baby care; vaccinations at your request; acute care for infections, flu, etc) as well as non-traditional (Homeopathic, Acupressure, vitamin supplements, etc). Best of all, the visits are covered by insurance (unlike most naturopathic doctor visits). I was able to schedule a same-day appointment and only had to wait a couple minutes to be seen once I arrived.
PROS: Traditional and natural healing at one office (and covered by insurance)
CONS: None!

This DQ ends up being a half-way point when my mom comes to visit us from northern Minnesota. It is a place where my parents can drive down and I can drive up and we meet for lunch and transfer my mom's stuff from one vehicle to the other before Dad and I each turn around and go back the way we came. It is very convenient to get to, but leaving (and getting back onto I-35) requires a right turn then a u-turn before you can get to the interstate (not hard to do by any means). It is a nice dine in facility with clean restrooms. This time all of us ordered Chicken Strip baskets, except I ordered mine Buffalo'd. I love spicy! All three of us enjoyed our chicken and ice cream treats (caramel shake for mom, strawberry sundae for dad, and a cookie dough blizzard for me). A nice break after driving almost 5 hours straight before turning around to drive it all over again to get home.
I noticed on the DQ web site that if you look up each store, you can find their contact information, hours, and specials and/or coupons to print out to use on your visit. Wish I would have done this before this trip! I could have saved $1 on my basket. Oh well, I will make sure to use this when I take mom back to MN next week.
