By far our favorite Mexican place in the Boulder/Denver area. This family-run business serves up amazing food (although I've never tried the "Efrain" which leaves the ingredients up to the chef's mood that day). Great margs and a cozy atmosphere. You can sit outside when the weather is nice.

This restaurant is awesome. The sushi is always fresh and delicious and the service is super friendly. They have interesting and exciting specials. The sushi chefs try their best to make your experience fun. Its a cheers type environment where if you're a regular everyone knows your name and even better, your drink order. The waitress is always super sweet but she can get busy when the room fills up so put in your requests early and be patient. If you live in the area put this place on your list of favorites!

Efrain's (the original in Lafayette, though the other locations I've been to are also good) is IMHO, by far, the best Mexican restaurant in Boulder county. It is not without it's faults (merely ok margs and salsa and hit-or-miss service), but the strength of their best dishes coupled with the generous portions and very affordable prices make it a clear winner. Their chile verde burrito is superlative: it makes your face sweat while also being full of flavor. That said, the dish does vary (probably with the cooking staff): some days it's awesome, others, merely quite good. My wife and I also dig their altogether too humble sounding "beef burrito" which comes in an absolutely amazing (and fairly mild) red sauce. That said, the portions are generous and the prices surprisingly low.
Efrain's margs are ok. Served in a mason jar with salt (unless you request otherwise) they are generally reasonably priced and unremarkable
The service can be spotty. Sometimes you get lots of attention from your waitperson, other times very little. In my experience, there is little correlation between business and overall level of service.
Overall, I think it the best Mexican restaurant I've tried in Boulder county. It's nothing fancy, but has great food, great value, decent salsa/margs and highly variable service.
Pros: Best Chile Verde in the greater Boulder area
Cons: Quality of service and heat of chile verde burrito varies

We love going to this place on Friday nights! The margs are yummy, the food is authentic and delicious. The mariachi band makes for a fun and very loud dining experience. Don't expect fast service and you'll have a great time! We usually bring cash to pay, so we don't have to wait to have our credit card processed.

We love Zamparelli's and frequent there a lot. The owners are great and the staff is very nice and curteous. We take our kids 7, 5 and they are very nice to them. The food is excellent.
Not sure about the negative post that's here, but can't really see the owners doing that at all.

These guys are awesome! I needed a special project to be clear-bra'ed the same day, and every place in a 20 mile radius that I had called was unwilling to help or accommodate me. Eclipse was not only willing to do it on a weekend, but also on extremely short notice. The price was much lower than I had expected, and the turnaround time was amazing given the rushed circumstances. I will certainly return here again, and will most definitely be referring my friends and family next time!

If you know what to get, Casa Alvarez has wonderful, fresh food from homemade recipies. I love anything with their carnitas meat, marinated carne asada slices(like in the fajitas or gaucho burito), marinated chicken slices, and their shrimp. Make sure to top anything off with some green, red or inferno chile (the ranchera sauce isn't anything special)...or chimichuri sauce....ask for xtra they don't always put enough on.....I've had better chile rellenos and tamales..but once in a while Ernesto will make traditional rellenos as a special and they are yummy.....Ask for one of Ron or Alfred's special margarita's....much better than anything with cuervo gold...

I moved here from another state about a year ago and was having a really hard time trying to find a salon and hairstylist that I trusted. I went to 2 or 3 different places until I moved to Erie and found this one. It is amazing! I love everything about it---the atomsphere, the products, the services--everything! I have gone to Jessica and Nan and they both do incredible jobs. If you havent tried this place out, you definitly should!
