I was quite surprised to read how someone was displeased with their stay. We have stayed in the inn as well as the condo's. The inn is wonderfully furnished and very romantic. Dinner is outstanding cuisine served by good waiters. The wine list surpasses our humble tastes.
Staying at the condos is perfect for families and gives children & teens the room they need to be more active.
Ellie & the staff are so helpful & welcoming.
And the Village of Jackson? We couldn't say more about how wonderful it is to visit here in any season!

If you like great speed and moguls then this is the place for you. Great views of Mt Washington and Tuckerman's ravine. You'll need sharp edges and lots of fortitude to negotiate the expert trails on windy and cold days-the extreme challenge.
Come early for a good parking spot.

The first thing that strikes you about the Raven Wood Curio Shoppe is the design of the building. It's an adorable little wooden house set back behind beautifully designed wooden gates. You feel like you are in a magical village of sorts. Before you even enter there is a garden path highlighting some of the larger items for sale, such as sculptures, gates, fountains, etc. Once inside, be careful, as it is a tiny shop with narrow passages.
There are beautiful things everywhere you look, from suncatchers to jewelry to knick-knacks and cards. It is hard to stop yourself from saying "Ooh, look at this! And this!" Some of the items are pricey, but you will not find anything similar in a department store. If you are looking for one-of-a-kind gifts, this is the place to visit!

My wife and I went on our first vacation together here, and have since returned numerous times. This travel destination, close to Storyland, is a great getaway from reality. We loved every minute there. Our place had a kitchen area so we were able to bring groceries and save on eating out. There was also a great jacuzzi and a fireplace. The view of the mountains was amazing and the whole environment was relaxing. We'll definitely go back.

This is the place to stay if you visit New Hampshire. We skiied Mt. Washington but you don't have to ski to visit Christmas Farm Inn (but it sure is FUN!) Cross county skiing in nice too if downhill is too wild for you. This place is so relaxing and the spa if fabulous! Great food and great atmosphere. I would love to go back someday!

This is an Irish bar & restaurant with live entertainment many nights. The bar is great, but the food is more modest. Worse, the menu is too short -- not enough variety. But we always make a stop in for a quick meal followed by lots of Harp, music & laughs.

The terrain at Wildcat is some of the best terrain for the value. The mountain still is fairly inexpensive, and even offers deals like buying the next days skiing for dirt cheap. The terrain has many parts that are well suited for experts, as well as families. It is a hike from the lodge to the lift, so make sure to use the facilities before you head out. The mountain is prone to shutting down when it is windy as it is located directly across from Mount Washington. As such, it can get very cold. So make sure to bring layers.
