Brookdale Fruit Farm is a great, old-fashioned farm stand (you can purchase fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pick apples, pumpkins, etc.) but it is also much more. They sell a number of gourmet products, and have two large gift shop/craft shop areas. Entering the store, go to the right, and you'll find a variety of craft items, though mostly Christmas items (even during our last visit in late summer.) We've purchased a number of unique gifts here. Toward the left of the building, you'll find lots of other gift items, including a cute kids toy section, with a lean toward retro toys, but with modern items as well. They have candles, retro style lunch boxes, and much more. Go for the fresh fruit and vegetables, but do not forget the gift shop areas. This is one of my favorite farm stands anywhere.

This is in Hollis, NH........but well worth the trip. There is actually two or three flea markets together......they are kind of blended in......so you won't really know which one you are in. But both are across the street from one another.....we usually do one side of the street and then have lunch, and then cross over and do the other side. Its nice in the summer, because there are lots of pine trees for shade. Lots of snack bars. Lots of great dealers. Whatever you might be looking for or collect.....you will find it here. Its in a rural town of Hollis......very pretty area.....

Lull Farm is just perfect in every sense of the word. The cashier's are absolutely the sweetest, and the owner is a gem. The Jamaican workers that come up for the harvest time are very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. They can carve some beautiful pumpkins around Halloween too - they have an annual Halloween Pumpkin "show" and it's beautiful. Lull Farm is now open year round and offers fresh baked breads from local bakeries, yummy gourmet food items, candy, chocolate, homemade cookies, apple cider donuts, fresh pies - the list goes on and on. We shop at Lull Farm twice a week and the great thing is - they now offer meats and cheese so you can make Lull a one stop shop on your way home from a busy day at the office. Lull is my favorite store in Hollis, and even beats Trader Joes'.

This is a great little spot that will really hit THE spot. The Hollis Country Kitchen, located at the "four corners" in Hollis, is a very popular breakfast nook that has a loyal following of locals. Sure, they serve lunch and even dinner, but their breakfast can't be beat. You have to try the Hollis Country Kitchen - just get their at the crack of dawn on Saturday's - or risk waiting awhile. But, good things come to those who wait, so if you must wait - it's worth it!

Brad and Donna's flea mkt is a really fun place. Its a nice little ride to get there.....its on a rural route and you pass two farmstands to get there.......be sure to stop at the two farms either on your way there or going back! The flea mkt itself is nice because the dealers are set up under the shade of the pine trees for the most part. There are actually four or five snack bars. The flea mkt is on both sides of the street. Its actually a couple of flea mkts combined. There is something for everyone.....new stuff, yard sale stuff, antiques, just everything.. A fun place to stroll and browse.

I have had good service from Skillings & Sons. They installed a frost-free hydrant for my barn, which included running a water pipe from my house. I also had them replace my well pump and reservoir. All work has been done well. When I have had problems, they have sent someone right out. They are pricey, but they've always gotten the work done at the price they quoted.

We have been going to Hollis Country Kitchen for years for breakfast and lunch and we have always loved it. Now they are open for dinner too. The food was outstanding. We had a chicken kabob dinner which was delicious and the chicken pot pie was amazing - the best I have ever had. We had a fantastic carrot cake, clearly made from scratch and a melt in your mouth pecan pie. We will continue to go there for dinner. It was great!

This full service garden center is located in Hollis right off rte 111. It has a great outdoor area with tons of different plants and trees. They have a great display with fountains. The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful. They really know their stuff!! We've purchased many things from them and have always had great service. They also have a landscaping company out of this location.

We are doing many repairs on our home. We have been going to the usual places to do price checking. A friend of our told us about Holts. Just being down the road from us, we decided to check it out. For the repairs we were working on at the time, we found the lumber to be the cheapest and the best quality of all the bigger stores. We also had been doing price checking on shingles for a new roof. Again we were very happy with the price, not just with the price but a delivery charge of only $10.00. We were quoted 6 times that at another store!
Also we didn't have to look around forever for someone to help us. Plus after we told them what we needed for lumber we were told to pull our vehicle up and they loaded it for us!
From the time we walked into Holt's and until we left, we knew this was our new place. The prices, the quality and the staff will keep us comong back!!

Hollis Hosting is a Hollis based web hosting company, started back in 2002 (hey, that's "vintage" for internet companies these days), and they offer great pricing and EXCELLENT above and beyond service. The owner, Lukasz Tomczyk, is an all around wonderful humanoid. He is the best geek out there - knows his data suites from his Cisco swtiches, and really answers questions thoroughly and with real brain power. My husband uses Hollis Hosting for his website, and I am about to sign up too. Hollis Hosting can't be beat!
