great gifts...great activity! 4/12/2006

I am not a painter but I love Paint a Pot! As soon as I had my first child I loved painting her little feet and pressing them onto tiles. It was a great way to preserve those tiny feet and it made a great gift for parents and grandparents. Now that she's a little older she loves to go there and paint gifts for family members on mothers/fathers day, birthdays, and Christmas...and the family LOVES getting handmade gifts from her...she's always so proud! Great place...and very helpful staff. If you're not a painter like me...don't worry they'll help you! :0) more

Just plain fun! 4/8/2006

This store just says fun! Come in and have great time relaxing by yourself, painting with friends, or with your kids. There are tons of items to paint and many colors to choose from. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! The items make great presents and keepsakes. Handprints and footprints are really easy to do. They’re also open later so you can go at night. more

Fun for children and adults both! 4/3/2006

If you have an artistic flair (or even if you don't!) visit Paint a Pot for some fun, relaxing painting time. They have a large selection of pottery to paint, and the staff can help you with selecting an idea and paint colors. For the artistically challenged like myself, they have plenty of rubber stamps to help you create a design. They also cater to kids, offering painting or birthday parties. After you are finished, you just leave your item for about a week to be cured, and then you have a piece that will last a long time. Great gift ideas too! more

Such a fun place! 12/28/2005

This is a place where you literally go and paint a piece of pottery. It can be a plate, mug, vase, etc...there are a lot of pieces to choose from. Prices are based on the piece(s) you choose to paint. Go with a group of friends or take a young girl for a birthday party! Adults will have great fun as well! After you are finished painting you masterpiece (and they also have tons of paint and stamps to choose from) they will glaze and cook the pottery. It will be ready for you to pick up in a few days. Your piece(s) make a great gift as well! more

great for gifts 9/26/2005

In the market for a unique gift? Then this is the place to go. They can help you find and create exactly what you need for every occasion, or simply for the perfect vase for your own kitchen table. Friendly talented staff, and a calming atmosphere - the only downfall I’ve found is their odd hours. They’re never open when I want to go, and always open when I can’t go!! more

painters palace!! 8/22/2005

What a neat little store. Right next to a great family restaraunt you can park and go paint then go eat. First you go in there and pick out a pot and dont forget this is definatly a place to take your kids! THen next you get to paint it however you want. THe people willl fire it in the kiln for you and you come back when they tell you. I enjoy making plates with the kids . I will give them to them when they are older. more

paint up a storm 8/21/2005

Think Christmas or birthday presents as you prepare to go here. It is definitely a great place to get creative. Pick out a piece of pre-fired pottery, paint it and they will glaze and fire it again for you. You can pick it up seven days later. They have a great selection and are very helpful in getting you started. more
