I grew up on Skyline. I started eating this wonderful food at about 7 I think, and now some 60 years later, I still crave my Skyline Fix that no other food on earth will fill. This one (on University Dr. in Sunrise) is the best there is. I can't even find one up in Cincinnati any more, when we go up there each year, that compares to this one. I get a Chili Spaghetti Bean and 2 up. 2 up is serving line shorthand for two marvelous hot dogs on a steamed bun with mustard and fabulous Skyline Chili topped with diced mild onions. Most people get 3-Ways which have shredded cheddar cheese, and Cheese Coneys which also have shredded cheddar cheese. My wife always gets the Burrito with a small Greek Salad. Guys, it just doesn't get any better than this. The atmosphere is inviting, clean, fresh, and friendly and I have known the owner for a long time. He is friendly, fast, and efficient while serving up the orders as they come in. It is a pleasure just to watch him work. I asked him if he is going to open a Skyline Chili down in Cooper City where I live, and he told me he looked into it, but it was not to be yet. If you want a real taste sensation, you haven't lived, if you haven't tried Skyline Chili. I would give it 10 stars, but they only have 5 stars. Damn, I'm really making myself hungry. Guess where I'm going for lunch today!
