I have been to the midtown Chicago Fire several times - both eat in and take out. The pizza has consistently been perfect! I've never had it overcooked or soggy. The service was slow when we ate in, but the atmosphere is fun and we didn't mind. It took about 2 hours in total to eat in. They get so busy I understand why the service is slow. I love deep dish, and this pizza is some of the best deep dish I've ever had.

The best part about the restaurant is the view. You can sit where you have a pretty decent view of the American River and Lake Natomas. Just make sure that you sit either right next to a window or on the patio otherwise you won't be able to get a good view of the river. The food was good, nothing really amazing about it and the wait staff were very attentive and quick on the refills.

My husband and I love The Cliff House. It always satisfies! The staff is exceedingly pleasant. The food is outstanding (the best appetizer is the clams and mussels-yum!). The river view is beautiful and the ambience is very nice. This is also a great place to hold a private party.
I really recommend sitting near the fireplace inside- it makes for a memorable experience. It is getting a little tired looking and that's a shame because it is a really fine restaurant. I hope they will do a little updating soon.
Pros: Fabulous food and service! Consistent.
Cons: The exterior and interior both need freshening-don't care too much for the Sat. bar scene.

this is my department's favorite place for team building. i have been there ever since i started to work in my current job. this place is kinda old, but very friendly. i always see kids there too, staff treated them very nice, we usually order their catering service too, pizza as always, nothing fancy, but we always had good time.

There are so many great stores at the Folsom Outlets. They actually have a website that you can sign up with that will give you discounts on their already super low prices. There are some great designer outlets where you can get name brand clothing for way cheap. The whole area is meticulously maintained and well lit. The only issue is that parking on the weekends can be a pain.
