I am a great customer with lots of gun wants belong to gun groups and clubs drove over an hour to check this place out and they were so incredibly rude that I would never ever recommend this place to anyone or support them in any way more

Randy’s rudeness was taught to him from the king of rude his father. I bought 35 guns from them in twenty years until Randy decided to lie to me about an appraisal. I would rather pay more to someone who is courteous and appreciates my business. Yeah pony tail is a moron. They answer the phone and put you on hold and never pick it up on purpose and the .. think it’s funny. more

If you're looking for good prices and unresponsive customer service, this is the place for you. You may have a totally different experience each time you visit Guns Galore depending on the person you deal with. If you know exactly what you want and they have it in stock, you'll probably be a satisfied customer. If you have questions and are trying to do a little research, you'll probably leave frustrated. They cater to gun buyers, not to gun shoppers. I thought they did gunsmith work. They do not. They will recommend a gunsmith in Saginaw, but do no gunsmith work in house. Ordering guns our parts can be a bit dicey as they are pretty unresponsive as to when you'll receive parts or guns that are not in stock. If you want competitive prices and very sketchy customer service, this is your kind of store. more

Bought a pistol there when I was 21 came back years later randy the spoiled brat that inherited the store. It went from an old gun shop with decent prices to a dingy gun shop with average prices and the rudest owner I ever met. That's what happens when you don't earn your business you slowly run it into the ground. The only people who shop at guns galore are first time buyers. more

Very friendly service was treated very politely by a young lady who helped me by getting a gun I called for in the back! My favorite gun store now.. more

you will read lots of negatives re: guns galore....they are not your best friend or your aunt Margaret....they sell lots of new and used guns and supplies at reasonable prices and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell.....I have purchased several guns and related items from them and while I've never been asked out for dinner, the service is fine......... ann arbor mi more

I don't know just how many rifles & shotguns and reloading supplies I have bought from Guns Galore but it has been a bunch. I also bought my gun safe from them at a price no one else in Michigan could or would match. I got really impressed when my wife told me about a Remington 700 mountain rifle she bought me as a birthday gift. She had over heard part of me telling a friend I wanted a 7mm08 so wife decided to go to Guns Galore by her self and get me a 7mm08, She knows I am a fan of the Remington 700 so that is what she asked to look at a 700 in 7mm08. She said they brought out 5 or 6 for her to look at. She chose the one with prettiest wood she said and said they recommended the Pentex light seeker scope. I do love the rifle and scope too, how ever. Little did she know I really wanted a compact model 7 for UP cedar swamp hunting. more

I went into Guns Galore a few months back wanting to buy a rifle. Waited for 20 minutes while getting ignored by every person behind the counter. Tried to ask questions but they just kept walking and acted like I didn't even exist. Ended up going home and order a 30-06 from Buds guns online and a couple weeks later ordered 2 9mm Rugers from Buds as well. Will not go back to Guns Galore. more

Visited for the first time today and walked out less than 10 minutes later. Rude workers who did not want to help. Will never walk in their doors again. more

I went into guns galore and had every intention of buying a nice 380, possibly a 9mm, wanted to look them over a get a feel for which one I would get. I figured since I had a 900. dollar limit I would get decent service, I was wrong, was treated like an I idiot by asking questions, literally had a gun ripped out of my hand and given to another customer. Literally. The older man in there has zero customer service skills. I left, will NEVER go back, and will post this same review on every web site with their name on it. By the way, I went to Gander Mnt. Spent 1,100 all totaled for all the amenities and was treated as a customer, not a bother. more

I had my first experience with Guns Galore last week. I thought that they were very good in attending to my needs. They were polite and answered all of my questions. I purchased a hand gun and then went back two days later to buy a holster. This will be my "go to place" for guns and equipment. more

I went into this store even though all of my friends said not to. I ordered a gun that they said would be instock in a month. A month later I called and they said " I told you I would call you when it came in" Like i was a pain in their ass calling to know when the gun that I pre paid for and also gave them 65.00 over retail to insure I would have it by christmas. I got on www.gunbroker.com to find the gun i ordered was listed by them on the site. I called and asked what the deal was and they said "capitalism". I still cant believe that is the answer i got. I went up there and got my money back and would never reccomend this shop to anyone. more

I've been buying guns from Guns Galore since was 18 yrs old (i'm 49 now).Their prices are just good as any you would find on line or anywhere else and you don't have to pay shipping or FFL handeling cost).As for the staff, I'll admit some of them aren't 'all warm and fuzzy ' but it's a gun shop, not a toy store ,not flower shop ,a GUN SHOP.And by the way they have the best layaway plan around.keep up the good work guys.signed, LIFE TIME COSTOMER more

Good: Prices generally quite good. Bad: One guy "Randy"? can be a real jerk at times. He has no people skills and acts like his customers are a bother to him. He has his good days but is quite unpredictable. Improvements: The above guy needs people skills training.. Other: Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, If you can avoid Randy, your experience will most likely be positive.. more

This really isn't a bad shop, pretty good selection of new and used, particularly pistols. They have pretty good prices on used guns as well. One caveat though, the owner's son is a jerk with absolutely no customer skills. Avoid him like the plague. Most of the other clerks there are friendly and helpful. As with most gun shops, everyone there has an opinion but once you get past that, its not too bad. more

My worst experience ever with a gunshop was at Guns Galore in Fenton Michigan. I drove there with a friend from Grand Rapids to pick up a Kimber Custom Classic .22 Rifle. I had called ahead to see if they had one and was told they did. I asked if they would put a hold on it as I was enroute and over an hour away. I was told they would do that and they did. Once I got there I was helped out by a nice guy behind the counter. He handed me the rifle and I looked it over. I looked at it for a few minutes. While fondling it another employee (later I found out that he was the son of the owner. He had long hair at the time) came over from another area of the store and said "let me see that" so I handed it to a him. He never bothered to ask if I was done with it or more importantly, if I wanted to buy the little rifle. He in turn walked over to another customer and handed the rifle to him. Then the other guy bought it. I was in such shock I didn't think to tell the guy that I was looking at that with the intention to buy it. Once I had my stuff together I told the guy that helped me out initially that I had intentions to buy the rifle and I was put off by the other jerk. He said quietly that the jerk was the owner's son and that he was sorry and he offered to order another rifle for me. Because of the long drive I declined and also informed him that I wouldn't be spending my money there because of the behavior of the other guy. He said that he certainly understood and my buddy and I left. I ended up getting a couple of other Kimber .22 rifles and both of them had better test targets than the Custom Classic did anyway. I go to a lot of gunshops and have bought a bunch of guns over the years but the guys at Guns Galore will never get a dime of my money. more

For a hole in the wall shop, the employees are not friendly. They pretty much ignored myself and my husband on two separate visits. My dad purchased three guns with me and my sisters and you would think they would at least crack a smile. I'll buy my ammo elsewhere, thanks. more
