Jesse & David's Restaurant

I'll make this known before I get into any depth of a review for this particular restaurant: I am the head waiter at the direct competition of Jesse & David's, and I must say that this place makes for some competition. If you are familiar with kosher deli's, whether here in New Jersey or in New York, you probably know that they are generally high-priced. That "staple" of kosher deli's is very much true for Jesse & David's, which comes to be expected, so perhaps you can keep that in mind when going out if you don't want to spend too much cash. Aside from the prices, the food is just excellent. It is delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I'd recommend this place highly because it features good food and good service but since I happen to work for its competition...umm...don't go here too frequently!! more

This Kosher restaurant is located right off of Rt.9 in a small strip mall. It offers takeout and sit-in options. The layout of the dining area is very nice and open, with a warm atmosphere. There is always a waiter/waitress circling the floor, which makes them accessible. Food: Quite tasty and fairly large portions, they have a variety of dishes to pick from. A good lunch deal is the lunch sandwich which includes soup/salad bar with a drink for roughly $7. Prices: Some things are a bit pricey and will fall more towards the lower double digits. Service: Not stellar, but not horrible. Average service. Overall, it is a nice place to eat with the dining room being a very welcome and homey place, but tends to be a bit pricey. more
