This place is totally overrated. If you're looking for cheap drinks and a good time you can do better elsewhere around downtown. If you're looking for an incredibly yuppie crowd and high drink prices then the Town Pump is for you.
Last time I was there was during a tigers game and the place was packed with yuppies and drink prices were exorbitant. The crowd was very homogenous and the bar didn't have the cool ballgame vibe that a place like the Old Shillelagh or Nemos has.
