My wife & I shared a delicious bowl of vegetable soup as an appetizer. We also each ordered the filet mignon special which was more than outstanding. Each was presented artfully and cooked to perfection. We shared a bottle of merlot during the meal and ordered a delicious carmelized creme brulee for dessert. The meal was reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Anyone complaining about the prices here should just get a Big Mac, Coke & fries.

The food is good, but the service is great! This is the place to be if you want to feel appreciated and cared for by the staff. All we have to do is walk through the door and they have my son's pancake on the griddle for him. We always feel at home at the Egg.

The Soda Shop is a very cool place it has been opened since 1951 and has lots of old stuff like vinyl seats and all of the old timey decorations except for on the walls they have it decorated with all kinds of North Carolina sports memorbilla pictures posters and other things that are all reflective of the NC teams and school spirits. They are located right across from the Davidson College.

This is our favorite romantic place in the area. Service, food, etc. all are first rate for a place that you'd expect to have in the price they charge. Worth driving a distance to get to. Make reservations. During the week, service is very personal - neat.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Small place, so reservations needed quite often.

It's great when the weather is warm to sit out back and just relax. The food is always yummy..must try the grilled pimento cheese sandwich!! (delish)! The staff is always smiling and chatty!! Got to love the toys that are there for the kiddos too!

The Village Store has a little bit of everything - cards, knick knacks, shoes, handbags, decorative pieces, pottery and more. They have a large selection of Vera Bradley as well.
The staff is friendly and helpful and often the owner is working. Their prices are reasonable as well.
