California Styles

This place is loaded with talented and gifted stylists. I have been very impressed with the colors and cuts. Not everyone can cut hair, as I have personally found out -eek. But, this place has stylists that are top notch with no disappointments. Erin can do the most fantastic eye brows that I had done and seen for less than ten dollars (love her hair cuts as well). There is a man who is like an artist with hair, Kelly (amazing), and the others who I don't know the names but do jaw dropping amazing jobs. I have been to the big cities with the big prices and high profile cuts, but this place can way out do those places, and with fair prices, because this place is loaded with serious talent!! more

Kelly is wonderful there! My schedule is hectic, as everyone else's, and figured I would save time by doing my own color. Just a quick "touch-up" on my roots, so I thought. After I turned my hair a nice shade of puke green.....yes green! I panicked in disbelief for a moment and then call Kelly. She told me to come on in so she could take a look. (not to laugh, but to see how bad it was.. I did let her laugh a little while I cried inside!) 3 hours later...so much for my "saving time" idea.... I had a beautiful color and feel to my hair. Kelly is an expert with color. She really took special care in the conditioning also...the damage was minimal. Thank you so much Kelly for: 1. Accommodating me at the moment of panic and working me in at a late hour. 2.Creating a wonderful color and 3. Saving my hair from potential damage and breakage. You rock, Girl!- Teresa;) more

I don't get my hair cut that often, but when I do I visit California Styles located in downtown Collinsville. The shop is very nice. Their hair cuts are kind of expensive, but I justify this since I only get my hair cut maybe three times a year. They also offer manicures and pedicures. more
