DTE will always be Pine Knob to me. But that's beside the point. This is a great place to see a concert because you have so many seating options. There isn't a bad seat anywhere in the pavilion and on the grass you can be as close or far away from those around you as you want. Lawn seating, which is first come first served, isn't particularly comfortable because you're sitting on the grass but it's tolerable and if you're seeing your favourite band in concert are you really going to be seated for that? Besides the lawn seats are privy to the three 9 X 12 video screens and the two giant screens that are located on either side of the stage. I've never had a bad experience seeing a concert there. The sound is always great as is the lighting. The food and drink selections are pretty good too. My only gripe is the price of concert tickets to the bands I want to see is really expensive but then they're pretty popular right now so that's to be expected. Pine Knob, oops, DTE, also pass out a TON of vouchers for the lesser popular bands they book. For those, I believe, you only have to pay the $3 "parking" fee (which is per person now, not per car like it used to be) and then you are allowed a lawn seat. Now that's a great inexpensive way to see some of your old favourite bands.

Last night I had dinner at mesquite creek for the first time in 3 years. From the time I walked in the door I was floored. Everything was so new and open and new, sorry, I have to say I was suprised by the menu it had everything and I had the Prime rib , which holy cow, get it cow, anyway. It was perfectly cooked and it truly did melt in my mouth. The capt. and coke I had well, I had a couple more so what else can I say and the service best described as stellar, thanks again Bob, see you again soon .
Pros: Fantastic service, Attentive staff, excellent portions
Cons: alittle busy at times

The decor itself is worth the trip to see the Clarkston Cafe and the adjoining Pizza Coco but the food makes these restaurants a definitive destination. The day I was visiting Clarkston, I was fortunate enough to dine in both restaurants. Everything at both places is delightful and delicious! From appetizers to salad to pizza to entree to dessert, all the food served was truly exceptional. Some favorites of my parties were: the escargot and crab rangoon appetizers, the wood-fired pizza in general, roasted beet salad with chevre, pomegranate martinis and mojitos, nicoise salad, cedar planked salmon, roast amish chicken, ahi wellington, pommes frites with dipping aiolis, and most definitely the creme brulee special! My only regret was that I couldn't have tried more menu items. (Alas, the stomach has limits!) The prices are in line with what I'd expect for top-level cuisine prepared from fresh high-quality ingredients, and served in generous portions. And there are more affordable menu items and ala carte items too, especially on the Pizza Coco side, which is a more casual atmosphere. The service was very good on both sides and the wine and drink selections are exceptional. I've heard they sometimes have live jazz in the cafe, which would make a truly memorable dining experience.
Pros: Atmosphere, food, service, uniqueness
Cons: Very busy on the weekends

This is a very pricey but good orthodontist. My daughter had buck teeth 3 years ago and now they are very straight. She still has them on but she should be getting them off shortly!
He is a good orthodontist but he is the most expensive in the area. It cost me a fortune but it is worth it. The staff is nice and they get you in at a moments notice.

There are few antique shops worth a twenty minute drive, but Clarkston Country store is definately one of them. They have a very large selection of high-quality and beautiful antiques. The prices can be somewhat high, but you get what you pay for. The store itself is located in a beautiful area so theres plenty of things to do other than just shop at this store. If you love antiques, then this is a must see.

We went to Havel Floors for Carpeting . They did an outstanding job, the carpet was ordered and came in sooner than promised and they rearranged their installation schedule to get our Carpet installed before our Dinner Party. Would Highly reccomend!!!
