Wonderful Holiday Tradition 7/27/2009

Every year our two families go there to kick off the Fall season. While pricey it's well worth it, I go on the roller coaster with my son (I could take him on it at age 1). We go on a weekday to avoid crowds and never way more than 5-10 min in line. Kids absolutely love it! You do have to go through the store in line to get in but I've never found it to be an issue for our families. more

Wonderful Memories 10/16/2007

I have been going to Remlinger Farms for years and enjoy it everytime. I use to go when I was younger with my parents and I now take my 2 little ones who have as much fun as I use to. It's a great place to go and spend a day enjoying the rides, animals, produce, food, pumpkin patch, peter pan "haunted" house and the train ride. The price can throw you off, but for me and my family, it is well worth it. It is now my family tradition to go every year with my girls. more

Remlinger Farms - Poor service and lack of customer care 10/14/2007

We went to Remlinger Farms on Saturday Oct 13th to find there were 1,500 or more people there. The lines were very long and the rides very short. there are no seats for parents to wait while their kids take the rides. The kitchen was staffed by 2 cooks. Going in, they make you walk through a maze of shopping and the entrance fee is outrageous - $15 per person (kids as well as adults). The owners appear to be greedy and uncaring. This used to be a fun place, to take kids. Now it is over priced, over crowded and undercaring. Better to go to Snoqualmie Falls on a hike or Carnation Farms. more

A Great Family Outing 7/16/2006

We took our four year old and fifteen month old to the farm on a Sunday in July and it was wonderful. Much more than I expected. I thought the rides were great and all appropriate for the four year old but some for the little one too. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. We looked at animals, had lunch, bought fresh produce and rode on rides that usually are not appropriate for my young ones. The train was really great fun. Admission was $10 for everything except food. I thought it was steep at first until we were there for three hours. This to me was money well spent. We will be going back for the fall festival as Remlinger Farms is more than just fresh veggies. more

Old Remlinger Had a Farm... 4/2/2006

If you've had enough of the city and want to get a little fresh air, head out to the country and visit Remlinger Farms in Carnation. Year around, you'll find an indoor produce market and restaurant. The produce is regional and usually good. The restaurant is OK. During appropriate seasons, they also run a farm themed park where the kids can be entertained. It's not Disneyland and probably a little expensive for what you get. But for a destination, Remlinger can keep you busy for an hour or two. It's also conveniently located near the Duvall/Carnation converted rail trail for the bicyclist who needs a quick detour from the ride. more

Remlinger Farms 3/31/2006

Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA is a good family destination. It's a bit pricey so not something you'd want to do every weekend. There are lots of hands-on things for the kids, including rides. We particularly enjoy the fall festival. There is a big pumpkin patch, a hay maze for the little ones, and usually a musical entertainer. They have a decent restaurant but expect a long wait during peak times. more

Trip in the Country 3/18/2006

So, particularly in the summer, or n the fall, for pumpkins, check out Remlinger Farms. It's worth one trip, for really small kids. They have reallly, teeny, tiny rides, that they charge a lot for. Small kids were pretty happy with this, but the admission is outrageous for what you get. The train ride is pretty cool for the little guys, and they have berry patches to pick from in the summer. Schools go there for field trips and it's a better way to experience the place. more

Pumpkin patch - amusement park - puppet shows - maze - train ride 10/12/2005

I'm tired just from writing it all! Remlinger Farms is definitely a full day activity. The place is generously decorated for fall/Halloween and there are so many fun things to do. There is a restaurant, ice cream shop and market as well. It's a really fun place to go and if you have the time, you should check it out. (Oh, and they do have a pumpkin patch as well. Ha Ha!) If you're looking for something a little more toned down, check out my review on Carleton Farms. It's a super pumpkin patch without all the bells and whistles of Remlinger Farms. more
