The tasting menu was superb. The wine pairing was spot on. Excellent food, good ambience. The service was perfect with the waitress never intruding and making good suggestions. Absolutely decadent desserts. Could not recommend this highly enough.

The Sow's Ear had been recommended by the concierge of the inn we were staying at. At first the name threw me off but my better half talked me into trying it, and I was SO glad he did. We went in around 6:30, the host, who I assume was the owner, was so genuinely happy to see us and even though we didn't have reservations he said, "That's okay! We will feed you anyways! Let's eat!". I thought that was just the sweetest thing and immediately felt right at home. The fireplace kept everyone warm and the flowerpot bread was DELICIOUS! I chose the Salmon baked in parchment paper with dill and lemon butter. The salmon was one of the best I've had. It was cooked to perfection and was moist and flaky. My SO had the kalamata olive and goat cheese stuffed chicken breast and leg, again, one of the best chicken dishes I have had. The chicken was moist and melted in your mouth. We ended with a milk chocolate cheesecake and both couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the whole dinner had been. Our service was fantastic, the dinner was romantic and we felt like we were guests in their home. What a wonderful experience, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable dinner!

From the first day that Steven came to do a bid, his manner, concern for what we wanted, and bid presentation was both friendly & professional. It was obvious that he keeps up on the latest innovations in the paint industry to provide the best for his customers. He offered to come by and paint a sample of our color picks so we could be sure of our choice.....and because he did that, we changed our minds and love our results! His crew did an exceptional job preparing our historic home for paint and the finished job has strangers stopping to tell us how great it looks! We got a quality paint job at a reasonable price!

I used to live in Cambria before moving to San Luis. On top of all the things I miss about Cambria (the ocean, the pine trees, the slow pace, etc) it's Robin's! I love this place. The ambiance is great. Located in a small house it has a fireplace, cute little tables and an outdoor closed patio decorated with white lights and beautiful gardens. The food is outstanding, healthy and unique. Every time I go to Robin's, I am never dissapointed. The prices are reasonable too. In fact, we are celebrating my niece's 21st birthday this week at Robin's and I can hardly wait.

For a very small town, this Italian restaurant was excellent. If you stop over in Cambria you need to go to this Italian restaurant. This one stays open the latest so you don't have to get there too early. They give a huge portion of pasta, but it is so good you could eat the whole plate. The pizza is also good and great to share with the whole family.

I attended a wedding at the Cambria Pines Lodge and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. The evening wedding begin with a ceremony at the Gazebo and continue with a reception inside. There was a dance floor and twinkle lights around the room. They dimmed the lights for the first dance and it was just the most perfect romantic atmosphere.Highly recommended for the reception of your dreams.

The Wild Ginger Cafe is such a great little place! The service and the quality of food is fantastic. The cafe only seats 20 people inside, so it can get crowded at times- but it's worth any wait. We had the salmon and cream cheese wontons and calamari strips as appetizers, followed by the snapper special....a wonderful meal.

Such an eclectic selection of jewelry. The shop owner was an absoulte delight. Definately not your typical jewelry store, each item unique and breathtaking. If you love jewelry you must visit Casa de Oro. If you don't yet have an affinity for jewlery, prepare to fall in love.
