We stayed here while driving cross-country from VA to WA and this was a great stop.
-The rooms were clean and well decorated.
-->Great for history buffs!
-The prices were reasonable and included friendly service.
-The only negative experience was in the Virginian Restaurant, which is next door. The food wasn't high-quality, despite all the hype, and was pricey for what you got.
-If we had the chance to drive through WE'D STAY HERE AGAIN!

Every Saturday afternoon the sales starts at the Buffalo Livestock Auction. The sale often continues late into the night,or until every animal consigned has been sold. The Livestock auction is located on Highway 32 just west of Buffalo. You will know you are there by the wide assortment of cars and trucks overfilling the parking lot and by the sound of all the animals. This is a great place to take your extra livestock in to sell, or to buy additional animals for yourself. The seats are packed with lots of buyers. There is a food vendor there that serves lunch and makes its famous fish sandwiches.
